Corbyn married 3 times and had relationships, Boris married twice and has had relationships, both have got children, both now live with women 20 or more years younger, both have had reported bad relationships. Not a lot to choose really except one loves his country the other loves his countries enemies, I leave it to you to identify which.
Yeah not doubting that. I just meant if it had been Corbyn, there would already be 20 posts in here saying he’s unfit to be a man let alone run the country. But because it’s Boris it’s seemingly just a couple having an argument to some. Fact is the girlfriend was shouting ‘get off me’. That is not ‘just’ an argument.
Yeah but the police concluded there was no need to press charges so no crime was deemed to have taken place. He’s innocent of any crime, but he should actually acknowledge the event, rather than hide behind ‘no comment’. It’s an easy fix for him........and would shut his enemies up.
Yeah spot on imo. Innocent until proven guilty and all that I suppose, but I think the like-for-like comparison with JC still stands.
But why should he have to comment though? I understand what you are saying because of course coming out will make things easier for him. But for me its the principal of it. It's his private life. Key word there is PRIVATE. No matter if he is a high profile figure or not, there should be a line where people cannot cross. He has every right to have a private life which has nothing to do with his job and nothing to do with anyone else. So I disagree that its in the public interest. Its just some of the public want to make it their business as they like being nosy buggers . If it happened at work or out in the public then fair enough. I would understand all the publicity here. But this happened in his own home and its got this publicity because a neighbour seen it as a way to make a few quid by reporting it to the press. If the neighbour didn't do this then we wouldn't be discussing this now. His private life would still be his private life
Boris has done really well with his campaign so far. He has got a lot of votes from his fellow MP's and done well not to do or say anything that will bugger his chances. For the record here, im not a fan of Boris. But he has done well to get to this stage. Now it looks like something that happened in his own home, in his private life, could tarnish his chances of becoming the PM, based on people not actually knowing the full facts of something that they have no right to know anyway. Words/noises were heard. Nothing was seen. Police came and found everything was ok. That should be the end of it. Move along people. Back to the campaign. But no. People will keep going on about this to stop Boris being next PM. I agree with you AshtonRed, lets just see Boris and Hunt battle it out based on their policies and not what someone does in their own personal time behind closed doors in their own home in their private life.
We don't need to see Corbyn going through this to say he is unfit to be a man let alone run the country. We already know he is. Everyone is just using what happened with Boris and his partner as a way to politically attack him for their own agenda. Its as simple as that. So much detail being missed out is unreal.
Let me set the scene here. Boris had just gone through 15 hour day of meetings and interviews on his Tory leadership campaign. A hard grueling day. How do you think he was feeling at the end of that day? His partner Carrie, a victim if John Worboys - the rapist taxi driver, had just learned that day that Worboys had pleaded guilty to another 4 more attacks. How do you think she was feeling at the end of that day? Do you think she could be re-living what had happened to her? Have you ever had a long tiresome day or a really bad day emotionally? You just want to sit down and de-stress because you may be out of patience and maybe short tempered and maybe a bit pissed off. You want to sit down and enjoy a nice bottle of wine for example. Boris could have come after a long day and was just talking about him and his day. Carrie may not of wanted to hear about his day as she has had a bad day. She could have been cheesed off with him. He could have asked what was wrong, not know about the news that Carrie would have had about her abuser Worboys. He may have tried to comfort her. She doesn't want that from him as she is already wound up. So as he attempts to hold her, she yells to get off. The bottle of wine then spills. It goes everywhere, over his laptop for example, that has all his campaign stuff on. Carrie is pissed off with Boris and now Boris is pissed off with her because his laptop could be ruined taht has all his work on. Remember they both are already stressed and emotional. So voices are raised as an argument pursues. Carrie may try and quickly react to deal with his laptop, maybe trying to help before it gets worse. Boris is heard shouting get off my laptop. He could be thinking she could be making it worse. But Carrie was just trying to help. So after being shouted at, she loses it and throws things and some things get smashed. We have no idea what was smashed and what was banged. What is a fact though is that we have no idea who did the smashing or banging. Carrie is then screaming to get out of her flat. In these cases, some men go straight away. Some men don't. Personally I wouldn't leave if it was me as I would want to try and resolve the situation now. A neighbour hear's the commotion and reports it to the police. The police arrive and leaves shortly after realising it was just an argument and both Carrie and Boris are ok and sorted their differences. The police go and both Carrie and Boris clean up and are calm loving towards each other. End of. To me you can easily see how an argument could quickly arise after the day they both had. All the rest of the details I added is what could have happened. People have already decided to call Boris a woman beater and it was domestic abuse. Based on what? It is only due to wanting to attack Boris politically to stop his campaign. No other reason. I have come up with a different outlook of what could have happened, the sort of incidents that happen up and down the country every single day. Its a non story but made into a big story for political gain. To add more weight on this, we now find out that the neighbours who reported it to the police, took a recording of the argument and reported it to the press to make some money out of it. They gave it to the Guardian, one of the most left wing news outlets going, who are very anti Brexit and anti Boris. Since then, it has now come out that the neighbours in question are remainer and very anti Tory. Her social media has a lot of tweets dating back to 2012 about her hatred to Boris. Her and her partner have decorated Boris's car with a poster saying they rather endure him as a neighbour and not at the PM. The Guardian took the story to the police who denied the call out. But the Guardian then gave evidence of the call out with times and police car registrations who attended. How did the Guardian have this info? The neighbours who reported it to the police went out and took the police car registration numbers when the police were in with Boris and Carrie. This was done deliberately to use for evidence as they already knew they were going to report it to the press. How pathetic are these neighbours. All this is, is 2 lefties who are against the Tories and against Boris and against Brexit who have moaned about the government and Boris a hell of a lot since 2012, who took a normal situation and blown it up into something massive to make money for their own political gain.
Where are the boundaries between private and public? With you or I it’s relatively clear, but with people who have aspirations to run the country it’s not quite as clear. They will be in a position of authority over us - telling us how to behave and what taxes we shall be liable to pay. They need to accept that every aspect of their lives will be scrutinised - rightly or wrongly - and there will be all sorts of vultures looking for gossip and scandal. It’s how it is (whether it’s how it SHOULD be is another thing) - and it’s not just because it’s Boris either - it’s all public figures.
Here is Boris's partner feeling about it.... like I said, its a non story and the neighbours should be ashamed of themselves https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/93540...partner-carrie-symonds-stitch-up-anti-brexit/ Its in a lot of papers not just the sun by the way.
Indeed. The press here is far worse than any other country. I hate seeing the news and you have Corbyn and Boris and other MP's leave their homes and they have all the press camped out in the street waiting for them. Its ridiculous.

If this was "another country" these neighbours would now likely be in some dark hole being fed mouldy bread and drinking un clean river water … ….lol wonder how much they got ..50 quid!
Man has argument with the Mrs and they tape it and take it to the media. Mr Johnson has unpleasant and scummy neighbours. These remainers may live in a privileged and affluent area but this displays class does not go hand in hand with wealth.
why would anyone stand holding a photo shopped photo for payment unless their desperation for attention is such is that lacking in friends they need to draw attention to them selves or could it be they are living beyond their means …. or ...OR... should BORIS become PM then there would be a police presence around the property and they might not want that as they are involved in shady dealings …. ………..
take a good look at the picture and the words "privileged .. affluent … class … wealth" ……. no jewellery [ had to pawn it ] … no make up [ didn't have the bus fare to go to local pound shop ]… hairy left arm [ he has a beard so no razor blades ]… unkempt hair [ result of using washing up liquid not shampoo ]…. dress looks like a remodelled cheese cloth [ local delicatessen bin raid ] …. and her little finger of the left hand bruised from whacking her partner one …..?
I worry for Boris if his girlfriend gets offered millions from a newspaper for a 'kiss and tell' story. Not sure how that would play out.
I reckon she would rather stick it out to be the partner of the PM living at number 10 than put up living next to those neighbours. Going by her statements, se is very angry with her neighbours and the press. I wouldnt put it past her to go for compensation from either the neighbours and the press.
Its labour supporters and remainers spying on Johnson making recordings through walls and giving these to journalists!!
