Posting an article about United players going out partying after the game wasn't to do with anything actually being discussed and a bit of a wind up attempt, if you're honest.

Above comment questioned the attitude/commitment and performance of a high profile United player, to which I replied with an article showing the lack of commitment from.... High profile United players. I think it's generally agreed by all on the thread the commitment of United hasn't been the same since winning the league, posting the article merely reiterated that. Hardly a wind up really, not sure who would get wound up by seeing a group of footballers out on the lash having won the title.

There's no mention of commitment and even if there was, what does that have to do with them going out after the game? Sorry but you're getting more and more tenuous trying to defend yourself here.

Even if I humour you and say yes, Relayer's talking about commitment there(he's not) and you posting an article about going out drinking afterwards also questioned their commitment then of course it would wind up Spurs fans if you posted it on here.

Surely if the players went out after the game it would have been planned before? In my eyes that brings the commitment of the players into question. If you've got nothing to play for and plan a night out on the lash after the game, that has to affect your mindset.

Relayer isn't the type to get wound up (from my experience) and generally has a good rapport with most people on the Chelsea/Spurs forum. Not my intention to wind anyone up just merely further pointing out that the United players couldn't have been fully focused on the game and half the players pictured actually took part in it.

You seem sure it's a wind up so I'm probably wasting my breath trying to tell you it isn't but that honestly wasn't my intention. If that's how it's been perceived by more than two/three other users, then I apologise.

We have to thank Szczesny. He had just done AVB's team talk for Wednesday.....

  6. Guys - pls don't 'spat' on my account........
Although I do think ManUre minds were elsewhere yesterday - and news of a preplanned night out probably confirm that - my comments were not that Rooney lacked commitment - just that he was **** and has been for some time.... <laugh>
