There are some big-money signings already, this transfer window, with Arsenal, United and Chavs all splashing some big cash.

Respectively, we've seen these clubs buy Lacazette, Lukaku, and Morata.

Not every big club can be like Spurs and possess a manager and an academy that can keep churning out World class players on a never-ending conveyor-belt of talent. These other big clubs have to try to buy their way to success. But with big money comes big risk.

It is a fact that very few foreign players, compared with the numbers that are drafting in, actually excel in the Prem. Every season, there is always at least one major flop.

Who will it be this season?

I think Lukaku has already proven himself, so I think he'll do okay at United - not great, but nor will be considered a flop.

I think Lacazette and Morata will fight it out for the season's greatest flop, with Lacazette shaving it by a margin.

What do you lads think?

I would ask that we all treat this as a wum-free zone. Thanks, lads.
 
I do wonder why no one else went in for Lacazette though.
Especially as his agent has been whoring him every transfer window for 3 years.

I'm also skeptical as to why Giroud always plays for France rather than Lacazette.

Time will tell I guess.

We don't need to buy big-name players, Tobias. We already have a squad chock-full of them.

Our academy will supply us with the back up we need.

Not in the grand scheme of things, no, he wasn't.

Spurs don't spend the kind of money that the likes of City, Chavs and United spend, let alone the European giants.
