Abroad: Baggio, Del Piero, Zidane Nesta, Davids, Deschamps Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, George Hagi(always underrated if you ask me), Seedorf and loads more, I could go on for ages but I always liked Juve, which probably shows in my choices and if included Conte you'd think I was crazy Premier Leage/England: Gazza, Ginola, Sheringham, Le Tiss, Owen, Beckham, Cantona and well, pretty much anyone that put on a Spurs shirt.
Could be me, but I didn't see Speedie do much wrong in there, just a bit of a barge to stop Bennett getting to the ball?
Wasn't defending him in general, I remember what a nasty player he was, just didn't see it in the clip
Barnes, Gazza, Waddle, Beardsley, Gav Peacock, Maradona, Matthaus, Squillacci (only in Italia 90). So many great, skillful players in the late 80's early 90's. Maybe cos I was a kid and I have a romantic view but it seemed so much better back then.
when I was about 8 it was George best and kevin keegan, I even went round George best house to get a signature, he was never in, as a teen it was Gordon davies. roger brown. and the Liverpool team and notts forest cup winning team, Mario kempes from 78 world cup
Look again fella, the kick at his knee. Bennett was only in his second game back after an injury to that knee. Speedie wasn't just kicking out, there was easer places to strike bennett but he went for that knee. You know what speedie was like too, He probably told him he was going to do it. Next time I see Beno I'm going to ask him.
Shearer, Ginola and Sir Les when I was very young. Kind of players that actually made watching Newcastle fun.
not really, I was really young, didn't he score a hatrick playing for cfc, but never played many games for you did he
Gerry Gow from my club Kenny Dalglish from Liverpool and John Robertson of Forest Strangely all Scottish!
