Muntari, Ferdinand and Henderson need to be "rested" for the next game. Ferdinand was shocking on Sunday, just when I was starting to think he was a decent squad member. We missed Richardson at LB, as he would have been able to keep up with Johnson far easier than Bardsley and Ferdinand (ferdi was awful at both RB and LB): however for the next game Bardsly should be back at LB with Onouha at RB. Onouha, Mensah, Turner, Bardsley Elmo, Catts, Steed .........Sess........... Welbeck, Gyan
There's an idea mate Benetiz the guy who single handedly brought the mighty Liverpool to their knees with his **** purchases and tactics.
I know we're having a blip (yes another one!) but we're heading in the right direction, a strong finish to the season, top 10 finish, few more tweaks in the summer and we start all over again, don't you just love it!!?? Some people need to get real, this is the best position I've seen the club in my lifetime (I'm 34) and I think we'll continue to improve.
Definitely not. Even if we don't finish top 10 (which I think is unlikely) I'd still want him, he's done a very good job and most of the squad is made up of his purchases.
Didnt read all comments, too many knob heads from notrh of MILL GARAGES, my answer to the question..................YES BRUCE is tactilly inept, has no idea what football is to SAFC supporters, does he know where Hendon is or Plains farm, doubt it. would like Martin O N,,,,,,,,,,,Sunderland supporter as a boy. Bruce speaks nice on the telly though, a bit like that twat Tony Blah,[ spelling intentional ] sounds nice, but you know he is lying, cos his lips move.
Oh dear. Some of you make me ashamed to support Sunderland. A few weeks ago he was England material, the best manager we've had for ages creating the best team we've had possibly ever...now here some of you are calling for his head. Did he decide to get millions of injuries, or big breaks between games, or poor referee decisions? No. Who would we replace him with, Mourinho?!? Don't get above yourselves he is the best we could hope for and if you have any idea about football and look at his career record as a manager you need to recoginse a blip is always likely, to some degree. Like Quinny said, he understands football so won't make any rash decisions. Unlike some of you who seem to know nothing.
Don't want him to leave for the same reasons as a poster further up stability but, do we trade stability for relative success? The point will be out of our hands anyway, top ten finish and all is well with the world. Outside the top ten and Ellis Short maybe Niall Quinn will be looking around for a change. SB needs help with tactics an assistant manager or another coach as he has the tactical awareness of a daffodil couple that with the players not playing for him over the last couple of weeks and it's a recipe for disaster. Mind you this is Sunderland so a season without flirting about the relegation zone is a rarity.
