Wonder what Pascoe's thinking about his replacement ....

Unless the story's been put out to gauge fan reaction, positive - go for it, negative - he replaces Marsh and we're still looking for a number 2.

If Rodgers knows O'Driscoll, then it's likely Pascoe does to. And then he'll know whether it's an improvement for LFC or not.

I hope your scenario isn't true - I want the club to be more stong-minded than that.

I doubt sincerely after tax the guy has "all that much" I would say that i'd be surprised if you told me he could retire and live well for the rest of his days.

  10. He's been with us for three years. He'd have had to have been on less than £6,411 per week to have not earnt a million during that time. Do you serious think an Assistant Manager at Liverpool would be on such a low* amount...?

    *in footballing terms

Funny people even debating this when none of us know anything required of a top level coach and are in no position to judge meaningfully.

Want a big name coach? How's Zidane doing?

Big name doesn;t have to mean world class ex manager or footballer.

Pako and Rene Muelensteen are two world class coaches and highly regarded around Europe for their achievements as assistant managers.

And we have no idea what made them work in their roles, if they would be 2nd man again, what they're like to work with, how they would work with our current team etc etc
