Evening all, Sunderland fan in peace. Just a quick FPL-related question. I have a gaping Villa-and-Newcastle shaped hole in my team this weekend but don't really want to ditch their players for their easy fixtures coming up. The simplest fix would be to replace my non-playing 4.0m defender but I have no money in the bank. So my question is... Is Nat Phillips likely to start again this weekend? Klopp was waxing lyrical about him after the Brighton game which seemed like good news but then he got dropped midweek. Are Fabinho - Matip still first choice? Is Matip able/likely to play twice in a week? I've heard Klopp tries to us him as sparingly as possible. Is Fabinho likely to miss out after playing twice in four days? The other alternative is Neco Williams, but I don't like that he's played less than 60 minutes in both league games since Trent got injured. After playing the full 90 midweek, I assume he'll be used sparingly at the weekend? Thoughts? Cheers!
matip and fabinho will be first choice. Phillips is not eligible for cl due to the squad selection. I would say right now its 50/50 on matip fro this weekend and if he doesnt start imo he should not go to the last dead leg
Yeah, who else do we play at RB other than Neco? Milner has joined the injury list, Gomez also injured. We can't afford to play Hendo there because he will be much needed in midfield. We really are stretched atm.
There is that as well though hopefully one of Keita , Ox & Shaqiri might drag themselves of their deathbeds .
