How bout newly promoted clubs protected for the first 3 months A buy/sell period then lasts until the end of Jan and then it closes until the end of the season? Could any rules be then brought in where tactical buying be prevented e.g if we were 4th bottom and the Skunks were 3rd bottom what would stop us buying the whole of their first team and making them paint Monkwearmouth bridge for the rest of the season. Mind you, props be a better purpose in life than playing for them knackers
One thing I can't stand on the internet is people on forums calling each other kid or derivatives thereof. I don't think it reflects well on them. I was one of the many that was concerned about who we had signed so far but looking back now it's been a great window. We have so much pace and attacking flair in the side now that we should all be excited to see what we're capable of. I reckon Dick will sort the defence out too, he's not daft he'll know there's a problem there and with his experience he'll know how to fix it, I have no doubt of that.
