Happily Steve Bruce is a football manager - he'd make a very poor barrister... begs the question why these people think they are qualified to comment on things they evidently know nothing about...

"I might be upsetting people but there is a question of the rape and how he's been convicted by a jury," said Bruce.

"When you look at the evidence, it is there for appeal.

"It has divided opinion of course and when you look at the case in detail and, I don't think most people have really, because they have just seen Ched Evans as a convicted rapist, when you do look at the case and look at the evidence then certainly Ched has got a case."

It was Vicky Coren on Have I Got News for You earlier this year commented on that. Even if you take everything Evans says as the complete truth, just what have her previous boyfriends been like that she thinks he's a keeper despite acting like that? You can't even say it's money grabbing, because he's never going to have had a massive contract that meant he could live the lifestyle and still be minted, especially after 3 years of bills to be paid (mortgages etc don't stop remember) with zero income whilst he's been inside.

They could have really confused Harry by asking him was he "Je suis Charlie"? He'd probably have mumbled something along the lines of 'Charlie's a triffic lad, a proper chap'...
