I can understand why you feel the way that you do about FSG. In their defence, I believe, that they were on a hiding-to-nothing this season. They bought the club publicly stating that they knew very little about football but intended to learn very quickly. If they had tried to take the front position then they would have been laughed at by the media. Now they can go about their business on much greater understanding and strength in their proven ability to develop and manage sports businesses. Again, the sacking of Kenny can also be interpreted as a sign of that new public resolve. Kenny represented the old Liverpool to FSG - the club lived in his bones and his appointment was virtually forced upon them. Even if we had got 4th spot, I doubt that FSG would have given him more than 1 more season. The poor finish to the season and the whole Suarez saga gave them the opportunity to sack him - a clean break. Ian Ayre will be the next to go - once the stadium plans are published.
a) for when Dlaglish was put in charge- FSG did not want that to happen im sure. There preferences being a young manager and hence sacked him with only limited opportunities
