I wouldn't be surprised to see Mourinho at Liverpool, and I think it's the sort of club that would suit him, now that Dalgleish has left there is no one who will undermine the manager constantly. Mourinho wants to come back to England and realistically there are only 5 clubs that he would bother managing given the chance, Man U (no, SAF is there until he dies) Man City (not now Mancini has the EPL) Chelsea (can't see it, but possible) Arsenal (they aren't going to dump Arsene) and Liverpool. Liverpools new owners have proved that they'll back a manager with sufficient funds and I believe he'd love to put Ferguson in his place. He's won the league at every club he's managed, and doesn't seem to have a great rapport with the Madrid players or fans, despite trouncing the 'greatest team in the world' in the league.

I don't have much love for LFC, being a child of the 70's and 80's, but if it's a toss up betwwe united and Liverpool I'll choose Liverpool everytime, as I find you far less plastic and arrogant, and wouyld love to see you retake your title record just to hear the united fans whine.

Think we need to forget Guardolia, reports in Spain say that he is taking a break and that no club would be able to tempt him.

I also dont see what we would have to offer him. We dont have CL football or the same setup as Barca, nor do we have Messi and he doesnt have a connection with us like he did with Barca. If Barca cant keep him with the history between the two then I dont see anyone else being able to get him at the moment.

<ok>
Thumbs up for the support, but I hope you're sorely wrong about Mourinho. Yes, he's a winner, but it's all about him him him and what he achieves. He's arrogant, he demands bucket loads of cash which our owners won't provide, he plays an awful style of football and he'd leave us after a few years when another job turns up. He's not suited to us, in my opinion.

Guardiola was never a realistic possibility and yeah, he's taking a break from football before going back into a top team (which might end up being United at this rate...). But not us and not now.

Agreed. In terms of success, he would be brilliant in the short term but that's not what we need right now.

We could offer him a project, with a historic club, ambitious owners and the chance to go down in history.

I'd dont think managers are as fussy as players with moving straight to a top club. You get remembered more for making a great club.

Just feel we will go for a top top name after Kenny, they will need that to get some of the heat off of them.
