Not worded very well by me it was a bit late at night, I want Nige to remain as our manager.I thought I was in the minority Wiz.
I like and respect Warnock. I understand why other people don’t but his record speaks for itself for me.

It looks as though I will be in a minority, I respect Warnock and all of his history but I would hate him to infest our club, if he was that fantastic why have M'bro just sacked him.
No thankyou.
I would really worry, that if he and his style was to deliver results, it would leave a path open to those that would want that type of football here and become ingrained.I am also in the minority. I have said openly many times he is not the man for me and the club I love. That said, on a very short interim basis to help NP and the club, I could get on board with that, but not as a long-term manager.
Of course I want City to treat Nige with respect and not sack him. I’m sure it won’t come to that. He’s a man of principles I’m sure he’d hate to think we would risk relegation because he’s not able to work, so I’m sure an amicable arrangement can be negotiated. Respect is a two way thing. We have a Manager and as a club we need to do everything possible to get him back to work (healthy)
It would be very poor to get rid of him when he's off sick. We are too good for that surely.
Agree with everything except the “infest” comment. I wouldn’t want him here but feel that’s a bit strong.I 100% agree with you.......
I would have NW here in a shot-fantastic record.
But it would have to be approved by NP first if he is out for a long while.
NW has a fantastic record at keeping clubs up.
But long term I want Nige to finish the job if possible.
Maybe 'infest' was a bit strong, how about 'contaminate' - 'influence' -' mislead', we are still suffering from the shadow of another 'predecessor', we don't want to bring in a ' dinosaur' to upset our applecart, we have got enough problems to contend with, surely.Agree with everything except the “infest” comment. I understand where you are coming from SMH but we simply don’t have the time to wait indefinitely for him to recover - it could be weeks or it could be months - maybe the entire season. We have a Manager and as a club we need to do everything possible to get him back to work (healthy)

I’ve no idea which predecessor you are referring tooMaybe 'infest' was a bit strong, how about 'contaminate' - 'influence' -' mislead', we are still suffering from the shadow of another 'predecessor', we don't want to bring in a ' dinosaur' to upset our applecart, we have got enough problems to contend with, surely.
, get your meaning though, I misunderstood I thought you were using the term in a derogatory manner in relation to Warnock personally.I said about the idea of Nige becoming DOF. I think he's one for getting the infrastructure sorted and likes to view from a distance i.e. "the stands" but my managers choice would be Dean Smith.....who's been there and done it, not that long ago..Personally I’d like Nige to become DOF and Lowe to come in as manager/ coach, we’ve just got rid of two coaches salaries remember. That way Nige doesn’t need the day to day stress and Lowe can use Nige’s experience, would also allow Nige to work from home, zoom etc.
I know NW is another ‘marmite’ character and I also know that his style of football is ugly.Maybe 'infest' was a bit strong, how about 'contaminate' - 'influence' -' mislead', we are still suffering from the shadow of another 'predecessor', we don't want to bring in a ' dinosaur' to upset our applecart, we have got enough problems to contend with, surely.
Agree , I don’t think that’s achievable though whereas Lowe is, and a good up and coming manager, alongside a good experienced DOF seems perfect to me.I said about the idea of Nige becoming DOF. I worry about what he’d leave, no point just delaying relegationI know NW is another ‘marmite’ character and I also know that his style of football is ugly.
However, I want us to stay in this league more than I care about marmite or ugliness.

No nepotism this time though, plus he has got Plymouth challenging for League 1 promotion, plus I’d like Nige as DOF, for his experience, if the two worked together it would take the pressure off Nige a bit for the day to day here and now stuff and allow him to plan for the future.,seems the perfect scenario to me, it’ll never happen though ha haLast time we chose an up and coming, manager from L1 there were some unhappy people on here....
How long would you give it? We’ve no idea what it is at the moment. If it’s short term then yeah I agree. If it’s long term then we need to act now to give whoever time to sort out the slide. We have a Manager and as a club we need to do everything possible to get him back to work (healthy)
