I'm fast losing count of the amount of times people say they can't believe they're argeeing with me.

It's almost common as people saying Simon is a good manager and then going on to give a list of reasons why he isn't.

Nigel Martyn a good call, single handedly saved us from being relegated well before when we actually were.

Quite funny that comment two above this one Clive.

He would have saved us from going down when we did, if it wasn't for Venables and Reid.

I think he had lost some of his qualities before then. Robinson quite easily displaced him and Robbo was only half the keeper of Nige at his peak.

    That's nonsense.

Nigel was as good as ever right up until the point he retired.

    Ask Everton fans.

What is nonsense is you think a player retired whilst playing at the same standard as his peak. You typing nonsensical rubbish? Well I never.

Martyn was a great keeper and a good choice. however to say he took crosses with ease is being liberal with the truth. he rarely came for crosses and usually let his defenders sort it out for him. I have to say coming from crossess were his weak point. great keeper tho

Kewell and Beckford. Although Kewell lost all of my respect wen he did what he did.
