Yea!!!!......Junior got his first mention of the week. Its Friday and I was starting to worry for a moment there.
Careys been too restrained. Can only be bad for morale playing alongside or watching people not putting it in month on month.
Trouble at mill! When we did not get rid of all the excess dross from last season and I saw this coming. Bristol City created their own demise by not paying attention to the cold facts of life and they, and their supporters, have paid a dear price for a lack of commitment at all levels of the club. Mark my words in that I can't see an easy season for us and this latest debacle doesn't bode well for a team in disarray going in to our first game at the lower level. Ah well let's just see what happens I suppose.
And what a fu****** stupid moustache. 'ran through walls for BCFC' - - he ran through walls for £7k a week. You'll have me in tears in a minute. Carey's in no position to tell fellow pro's what to do. Should keep his mouth shut.
Nick Hunt was paid far more. Carey is in a position to tell others what to do. That I would expect is part of his future. I feel he should speak more. It is normal at numerous clubs for senior pro's to be used as a mouthpiece for the Manager and Coaches. He also has ability to demonstrate what the head coach wants e.g One, two touch football v player having six seven touches before moving the ball on. He is right, effort is a bare minimum to be expected. Last season players lost that fundamental element.
Why do we use the fractured skull like he did it on purpose for the cause of Bristol City. I came off my push bike once and shattered my arm when the girl I was giving a lift to walked away scratch free. I done it because it was a accident nothing intentional, the same as LC done his head it was just an accident. (Didn't get anywhere with the girl either) I like LC but most of us have been saying for ages that there is something rotten in the dressing room, speaking out like this might prove that you have someone shouting the odds when others are thinking who the **** are you, you was part of the relegation team as well. (Not blaming relegation on LC, before anyone tries jumping down my throat) What I do think is he's saying one thing whilst the journalist writes another, to make it sound more of a war cry.
Players at Ashton Gate last season would not even get into position to make a challenge. It was not one or two either. One of the serial star offenders who constantly played at 40% and avoided aspects of team ethic is still there.
'One of the serial star offenders who constantly played at 40% and avoided aspects of team ethic is still there' Can't be Kilkenny - he gave F A. And he's SOD's star man. God help us.
Its been said and mentioned quite a few times Redprintt....SOD rates Killa and will be one of the first on the team sheet i think. Ever the optomist, perhaps he will be a different player in L1?.....along with a few others I hope.
