I agree. But on here they have a free run. They would usually have been banned on 606, purely on the basis of a lack of footballing knowledge.

Mr Nice, you dont even talk about football. You just post threads about sexual insecurities on the internet. Thus further proving my belief that you are in fact a raging homosexual.

    LOL Mr Nice!!!!

Ive been on 606 for years.... about 3 to be exact but i do have another name as i was banned under hans moleo for comments about a certain Mr Rooney....

Im now know as Argoose on 606...

also i do not like the way you say i have a total lack of football knowledge.

What brings you to this conclusion? if its because of the abuse i give them pesky mancs then im sorry but to fight a ****** you must act like one as its the only thing they will understand...

Hans Moleo - What do you believe was the demise of the 'fox in the box' modern striker in the epl?
I'm sure you'd agree that the likes of Fowler, Jeffers etc are from a time gone by.
Why do you believe that these types of players no longer have a place in the EPL?

    Only serious comments please.

    Regards

    Mr Nice

I think you're right. For sure, in my 20 years of supporting Arsenal, I haven't managed to pick up a thing.

You show your ignorance by thinking Jeffers was a fox on the box! <ok>

It hasn't died out, just superseded by more adaptable players.

Jeffers was the archetypical fox in the box at his time at Everton. These players had to become more adaptable. Look at Owen and Eduardo now, when they started their careers they would play off the shoulder sniffing around but now they both can play deep and even on the wings.

    Why so Joan Smith?

    well well mr Nice..

I believe the for in the box died because no one fed him....

I mean you cant leave a fox in a box without food or water its just not nice.

As for jeffers well he was a goal hanger wasnt he a bit like why the long face ruud van nistlestrummer but in the end he got found out for being **** and got told to jog on....

You've comfounded my believe that you knwo nothing about football.

Why do you think that most top teams prefer 4-3-3 (4-5-1) combo to the traditional 4-4-2?

Apologies, I thought you were refering to his play during his time at Arsenal. Still, hanging off the goalposts is just impersonating a monkey. Owen certainly had the right characteristics.

Because they have had to become more adaptable. Didn't I just say that?

Like your spelling error there Mr Nonce <ok>

But why did they have to become more adaptable? It wasn't a coincidence.

Again, you're vague answer confounds the point that you know very little about football.

With NO due respect whatsoever - I'm pretty sure even -jordan- could answer this question more in-depth than you.

It doesn't confound my lack of knowledge, it merely asserts I can't be arsed to discuss something with a chopper.

No just dont care about what happened to the FOX in the BOX....

I watch my team and enjoy us winning i enjoy the banter and the team talk with fellow gooners....

I do not though feel the need to act like a pundit and assess every aspect of the game including what happen to the fox in the box.

Since ive watched football the game has changed alot so what does it matter whats happened in the past or how the changes have come about all that matters is that the rules and regs are good for the future as if they are not then football will be a bad place....
