I think we should mention Spurs in this thread.

How does one measure greatness or size? If one takes "firsts" as a measure of "being the biggest," then Spurs is up there with the best, if not top of the pile. Just look at this number of "firsts":

1st non-league club to win the FA Cup (1901)
1st club to win the league cup and FA Cup double (1961)
1st English club to win a major European trophy (1963)
1st British club to win two different major European trophies

The list goes on and on!

So, you definitely cannot discount Spurs when you have a debate about "which club is the biggest!"
