Of course,but basing an argument on a player in a rare rich scoring vein against proven goalscorer at club and international level is taking the piss. Sturridge is doing great at the moment though.
I don't want to bring the international side of things up as you want to talk only about the prem and fair enough Sturridge at this point in time has more goals and assists. But man, Suarez was just voted the most valuable player at the Copa America which boasted a shedload of some of the top players in the world. If Sturridge did get a run of games for England do you think he could win the golden boot or mvp ( not sure which it is) player of the tourney?
In the Premier League, Suarez has more shots per game, more key passes per game, more dribbles per game, is dispossessed less per game, has more passes per game, more crosses, more through balls etc etc. The only thing Sturridge really has going for him is a higher Pass Percentage, which means two thirds of **** all. You've just made a ridiculous point with absolutely 0 research. Suarez has infinitely better stats in the PL this season.

16 of those being in a much easier, completely different league. Like I said, a million times, Sturridge has only played regular first team football since his loan move to Bolton, and look what he's achieved.
If you need me to explain, the latter point I made was aimed at every single thing you said Suarez - 29 apps, 8 assists, 9 goals. Sturridge - 27 apps, 3 assists, 17 goals. They are the stats that matter, when you play in the positions they do.
Just to make it clear fellas, I think Suarez is a better player in terms of all round ability but you lot act like he's the best player ever to put on a pair of boots!
How deluded are scumpool fans, i'd rather have a player that is better at this moment in time not the past, Sturridge is currently better and in the future will still be better than Suarez
