    I couldn't let this one go by as I did see him playing for Oldham Athletic in the old Div3 (North). He was player manager for them and they stood top of the league and Gateshead were a close second. Played at the old Redheugh Park where the dog track surrounded the pitch and the players seemed miles away compared to Roker.
