I am beginning to hear the first rumblings of discontent about the way Lee Bowyer has been managing the team this season.

Until our latest run of two defeats and a draw in three games Bowyer was untouchable - not a word could be uttered against him. But now apparently things are changing.

So, if LB and JJ cannot return the team to the dizzying heights of the top 6 this season, who will you be holding primarily responsible?

I have offered a balanced range of choices to suit the entire spectrum of opinion among Charlton's dwindling fan base...

    Note:
I guess I could have added Richard Murray, but he only does as RD tells him so he doesn't really count as a separate choice. Also I couldn't put in Charlton's CEO or any other senior executives because we don't have any.

    The blame is divided between:
    1) Roland
    2) Roland
    3) Roland
    4) Roland
    and
    5) Roland

The same piece of human detritus who is responsible for our relegation.

Because (believe it or not) there are some folks who seem to believe the total breakdown of trust between the Club and its supporters is more his fault than the RD regime. For me that opinion defies understanding, but it does apparently exist.
And I thought it only right to cater for the entire range of opinions on this question.

    Agree with FHB.

Until that arsehole goes, we have no chance.

Even if we are in a good position in January, you know what comes next.

I saw an interesting poll on Charlton Twitter yesterday, with our fans asked to rate the start of our season-

    Ok

    Good

    Very Good

    Excellent

The first two categories were miles ahead, suggesting a dose of realism from our supporters after the last 3 league games.
    Nobody voted ‘excellent’.

Next Saturday is massive, and against the form team in this league as well.

Either we reset the season & go again, or it really does look like another huff and puff year to scrape home in 6th place.

If we are not in Play Off contention come 1st January - selling the likes of Aribo, Fosu & Bauer will prove irresistible to the old Scrote.

I don't think our League position will make any difference- Bauer and Aribo will go to counter Roland's losses. Another question- how will Bowyer respond to being sawn off?

They won’t get much for Bauer in January with only a few months left on his contract, and a public pledge that he wants to leave.

    Good question.

Even Gobbo got an occasional side-swipe in at Duchatelet. Until now Lee Bowyer has not said one word off-message.

Referees now added as an option <ok>

Also members can change their vote if they wish (I had originally disabled that option)

Totally bored with the takeover saga, but the owner has the club he has built in his image. A middling go-nowhere poorly supported tier 3 non entity whose dreams of better things evaporate with the dew each morning. Even the pathetic Meire goes straight back to the man who appointed her. Bowyer an unproven manager? Yeah right, as if we were going to do better under RD. He has taken every decisión, and by his own words he wants out of football, but as in all things he shows his remoresless uselessness as he can't even sell something he owns and doesn't want. Laughable.
