I think the Golden Boot for 2017/2018 is made for Salah. Harry Kane needs to score, score and score to catch him.

with 4 goal gap and 8 games available kane needs a couple hat tricks. he is supposed to be out til mid april but i will bet he starts next league game after internationals

if he is out til april then imo salah has a great chance

    and missing them;)

most of all though... a.lot.od easy games for spurs.

we have 4 easier and 3 tougher games left.

spurs have Chelsea and city and leicester and the fa cup semi. the rest easy.

if salah can grab a couple in next two and kane is out i reckon even the pens wont save him

Race for the European Golden Shoe
    Name Goals Points
    Mo Salah 28 56
    Lionel Messi 25 50
    Edinson Cavani 24 48
    Ciro Immobile 24 48
    Harry Kane 24 48

    * Since the 1996/97 season, the Golden Shoe has been awarded based on a points system, with goals scored in Europe's top five leagues - according to the UEFA coefficients - multiplied by a factor of two

Last time he returned early he looked absolutely bloody awful in first game back.

This is as i have commented on transfer thread...... Flogging the lad. long term he is going to break down by 27/28

anyway. Salah has onwards and upwards to look to.

32 for all time premier league record goal scorer. (suarez, kane and shearer)
32 for record goals in prem league for LFC (suarez on 31)
48 for LFC all time goal scorer in one season

has 37 now.... i mean seriously 37 goals in a season. amazing in itself.

    12 assists

salah as 29 goals and 10 assists in prem. = 39, needs 6 more combined to break henry's combined record.

he should but the press love kane.

I think it would require us being in SF of CL for them to award him the gong.

A hat trick v city and everton would be useful.
