    It's not even close! More goals, more assists, less time on the pitch, higher shot % too from less total shots.

    He's a bit over rated, Kane, isn't he?

    I see it like this;
    Kane is a striker- he's supposed to score, the team is setup to get him goals
    Salah is a winger- he's supposed to setup goals and occasionally score goals.

    If Salah wins the golden boot Kane should be embarrassed for being out done by a winger

    Suarez did it in about 30 games though; he was suspended for presumed racism at the start of the season

    In a very general sense, yes. But that's not how we setup to play. Although Firmino's got a fair few goals himself this season, hours primary job isn't to score. It's too hassle the opposition and create space/chances for others. Mane and Salah are expected to get the goals

    Kane gets the headlines, Mo gets the goals.

    Taking into account Mo's played less minutes yet scored more goals and made more assists the bias is embarrassing.
    A player that makes goals as well as scores them is more important to the team than an out and out selfish striker.

    Thank **** our Egyptian Pharaoh plays for us.<ok>

    Seriously though, Kane is a fantastic player, and because he's English the English press love him, but ask a football coach or manager, out and out goalscorer or a team player that can score AND make goals and Harry would be second choice.

    Not really a contest is it? A player who only knocks in goals, or someone who scores more in less game time without taking penalties or freekicks and also offers assists for other team mates...
    And Salah works harder off the ball defensively too.
    Really think he's hugely over rated just because he's English. I'm not a fan of the 'selfish striker' role which was popular in the 90s/early 00s. The game has evolved so much more where players are asked to do multiple things to benefit the entire team. Strikers can't just sit in the box and knock in goals anymore just like fullbacks don't just defend but are expected to be fit enough to basically be an extra winger too. Part of what makes our forward three so good is that they do everything and anything needed to get the team goals and don't just look after number 1. It's 99% the reason I wouldn't trade in Firmino for someone like Kane even if he has more goals on paper, Firmino offers much more (the other 1% is for his glorious teeth)

    I think that horse bolted long ago. He's already done enough to have everyone in the football world glowing green with envy. Slowing down a bit won't stop that.
    The better he does, the more he'll be worth if and when we do face losing him.

    No contest now is it? Mo is well ahead with the only two challengers out injured <laugh>

    I'd be surprised if he doesn't. Only reason I can think as to why it wouldn't happen is if he moves clubs!
