precisely. its not like they don't try as a club themselves but if you haven't got the fans, an athmosphere, moeny or a good pitch even it's pretty miraculous to keep surviving.

Fact is Wigan, as we all know is not a football town. They would rather watch men playing with peculiar shaped balls <whistle>

Since they play such good football though, I think Wigan deserve the chance to build themselves up as a football club and attract more supporters to the games which would happen if they became an established Premier League side.

Wigan are capable of getting at least three points from Backburn away and Wolves at home taking their points tally to 40 which should be enough to escape relegation.<ok>

I do not think Bolton are going to escape relegation.
    Aston Vila played 37 points= 38
    QPR played 37 points =37
    Wigan played 36 points =37
    Bolton played 37 points =35
    Blackburn played 36 points =31
Wolves played 37 points =25 Already relegated
~If Wigan gets all the points to night they are going to be safe and would drag Aston Villa into it.
~Blackburn are also going to be relegated.

I have to agree with this, I wouldn't say it is the 'teams' undeserving. But I would at least like to see plenty of matches with the crowd turning out weekly.

Steve Kean is surprised that Blackburn are fighting relegation at this point in the season. <doh>

You do realise that Aston Villa al but confirmed their safety yesterday when Bolton failed to win?

Bolton would have to make up a 17 goal defecite and even if Bolton win, QPR would also have to beat City for Villa to go down.

I like Wigan, with Blackpool down, you need the likes of Dave Wheelan to spout **** opinions about everything. ;-)

I'd much prefer poorly supported North West teams to stay up, then having 12 London teams in the top flight. Saying that would be good for Villa to go down.

More importantly, I just don't want West ham to come up. If I never see fat Sam in the top flight again, I would be happy.

I'm glad that Wigan stayed up, they have played football all season, and never resorted it huff it and hope.

I'd like it now, for QPR to drop, North West over London.

Blackburn, makes me wonder. How brilliant are we? We actually got shot of our **** owners, the mancs still have theirs leeching the life out of the club, and Blackburn have suffered the ultimate failure by letting theirs get away with constant stupidity.

The mancs are so stupid they forgot that their club is owned by asset strippers, and apart from setting up an other club and wearing old fashioned colours, what have they actually done?? Fergie gets pocket money for the transfer market, while the owners leverage the club up to the limit for cash to fill a pool with and swim in. Fergie is crying in the press that they can't compete with city, an yet they are supposed to be the richest club in Europe....

It's good to be a Liverpool fan, all things considered.

The curse of being in the bottom of the table on Christams day finally caught up with Blackburn yesterday.
I think the relegation battle is between Bolton and QPR.
~Botton away to Stoke on Sunday, if they can beat Stoke City they are going to be on 38 points.
~QPR has a very difficult game against Manchester City. Can they beat Manchester City.? I douibt it.
~Can Mark Hughes do Alex Ferguson some favour on Sunday by beating Manchester City?. Fergie have started the mind game.
I have the feeling that Bolton are going to win against Stoke.INTERESTING VERY INTERESTING!.
