It's not too unreasonable to expect 7 wins out of our last 8 games <whistle>

In general looking at them they are winnable and a side going for top 4 should be expected to win all of them.. that derby will be tasty mind.

Points in the bag is better than games in hand. Chelsea away to Leicester is not going to be easy.

What's the point trying to predict when we can beat city but lose to Swansea or utd losing to Newcastle?

We just have to do better than Chelsea and arsenal and we get top 4.

If there is any chance of catching spurs and utd great.

Exactly. All games - without exception - are winnable. Not all are won.

We have won three, drew one and lost one in our last five games. Thats 10pts from 15pts; an average of 2pts per game. If we continue at that rate it puts us on 76pts. IMO, that should be enough fit top four.

Chelsea can get a maximum of 80pts. I reckon they'll **** up in more than two games.

Having said that, we went quite a few games workout losing prior to Saturday. Repeat that form and it will be a doddle.

Anyone seriously considering Arsenal? They are a mile off.

My predictions of a couple weeks ago have all been right so far, I have it going down to the last game with Chelsea.

nope they are getting to the point where 12 points from 8 games, while not mathematically impossible, is so improbable that two teams implode to allow them in is just fantasy.

they would need LFC and cheslea to win less than half the remaining games and them win all 8. 8x3=24, 4x3=12.

I think its more likely they will only get 12/13 more points and end up somewhere i nthe low 60s.

City only need 2 wins for title. more interested i nthat game at emirates between utd and city as the spicy one coming up TBH.

I reckon it will be down to cheslea hopefully having to beat us to have any chance going into last day. I hope we keep the gap at 4 until then or even more cos i think brighton will be safe and we will do our business.

All is aligning now at the bottom

stoke, palace southampton and maybe west ham in bottom with west brom.

    Watford
    C.Palace
    Everton
    Bournemouth
    West brom
    Stoke

    Cheslea
    Brighton

We play 3 relegation threatened sides. I feel as though west brom have all but given up. Palace is away, stoke is at home.

The watfords, bournemouths and brightons have no skin in the game imo they are safe.

everton and cheslea are tough away fixtures

    Cheslea fixtures

    Burnely (a)
    Spurs (h)
    West ham (h)
    Southampton (a)

    Huddersfield (h)
    Swansea (a)
    LFC (h)
    Newcastle (a)

IMo they will only have to get by wst ham and southampton as relegation righting clubs.
They have burnrly to reschedule who have been poor for a while after getting so many points.
Spurs and us as tough top half games... both at home.

    Hudderfield at home, no contest.
Swansea away should be tough but by last 3 games? should be safe. not easy though
Newcastle will be safe by end. easy enough.

Those fixtures give me hope of an inconsistent result or two out of cheslea.

pity they will be out of cl as they would be quite likely to take the eye off the ball imo.

If Crystal Palace, West Brom and Stoke or Southampton are relegated, it will be the first time that three newly promoted clubs stayed up for many years.

    BOTTOM FOUR
    Southampton 28 Points
    Crystal Palace 27 Points
    Stoke 27 Points
West Brom 20 Points# I think they are as good as gone

I agree. I almost this these are the clubs fighting now. hudderfeild are likely the only one of relegated clubs to be pulled into it.

things can change very rapidly though...

PLEASE GOD LET IT NOT BE US GIVING PALACE ANY POINTS

West Brom made a terrible mistake of sacking Tony Pullis. He is performing miracle at Middlesbrough.

to be quite honest i wouldn't call the mixed bag of results they've had as miraculous.

they've done ok but the only thing he's gone and done is got something out of traore. they were 3 points off play offs when he took over, have had mixed results, win some lose some and have sneaked into playoffs by 3. yes they've won a few lately but they were playing the lower sides.

leeds, barnsely, birmingham, reading... its not like its reading like a transformation.

Once in the play offs his style will be a threat to anyone in play offs at the end but equally west brom couldn't sustain his ****e style any longer. their issue was appointing a ****ebag manager after and not backing the managers in transfer market.

I think some of it depends on who progresses in the champions league if either us, united or Chelsea make it to the semis can see the focus being on the champions league and resting players for the league
