Strong links saying Pardew will move to Palace.

Why would Pardew go to Palace.

Martinez is a couple of defeats from the sack imo, 2 more losses leaves them in relegation trouble

Frankly he must be nuts or sick if the Geordies.... OR he knows Ashley is ****ing off to rangers

Bruce will be jumping for joy at hull as he can't wait to get out of there

Don't think players are their problem atm, think its more down to tactical errors leaving them exposed to counters. Wigan comes to mind, same issue there, same rot and Martinez failed to turn it around. Wigan weren't that bad a side either, definitely they had enough to avoid the drop but like Everton now, Wigan just couldn't stop leaking goals.

But he did turn it round 3 years running at Wigan

Every time he dropped the ticky tacky, went more direct and got out of trouble

Every year it's the same nice stuff no urgency then it was go go go

He did true but.. there are times when you just can't get momentum and need to alter things to make it work, Rodgers and Martinez are really struggling to adapt to adversity.

They are currently looking like understudies to Fat Sham atm <laugh>

I'm willing to bet Martinez will revert to type had evertons old gaurd will shut up shop now the Christmas period is over and they will go on a run

Jagielka, distin, Baines, Barry, etc etc... This trying to pass the thing to death is over rated

Ain't that the truth. Barca were wrongly accused of that, they only seemed to be doing that when the opponent parked the bus, when facing a footballing opponent they were very effective and wasted little passes in attack.

We pass to death and get nowhere because of the static nature of our forwards, and little movement up front and few runs of any note from midfielders looking to get ahead of the ball, most likely because of "tactical discipline" but we must take risks to get goals. Sterling gives us tat option because of his pace and can run the channels. Sad as it is he's our best option as a forward which says tons about Lambert Borini and Badon <doh>
The movement of our players up top makes us so predictable to defend against. Only Sterling's pace and Cout's ability to go by players give us an element of unpredictability

Barca and real and bayern are totally different animals

The passing is fast crisp, one touch the ball moves moves moves

With us it's 5 touch and wonder, I rarely see an lfc player with his pass picked out, our cbs are ridiculous on the ball

You dont see pique/puyol when they were in on the ball, it was Xavi, iniesta, Busquets, alves etc

We give Skertl and sahko or lovern or who ever the ball really deep and call that ticky tacky.... Then we barely get it forward

No it's really easy to play square and back and call it possession and passing football. The real talents... Like Chelsea.... Can play forward with real threat and play patiently in the middle third actually threatening sides

When the ball is in our third teams can sit off and mark up... As a result any pass forward is either followed by us passing it right back or us losing it.

Gerrard and Lucas are hardly on the ball and to me compare that to matic and fabregas who are always on it

Another fine example is utd no midfield at all? No they stuck Rooney and mata in with carrick or whomever is fit

    Ifc lack a genuine midfield

Part of it must be instruction, we sometimes have a promising position that requires a bit of thinking and a clever pass, and we just ping pong it back to skytel to start sideways **** again. Rinse and repeat
