Excellent stuff !!

Rumour has it that a Pompey shirt was buried under the pitch as it was being first layed at St Marys Stadium, by a labourer who was also a Pompey fan <laugh>

Wow, I have no idea why someone would waste a shirt of their own football team like that but I do find it funny that we have plaster boarded it up to rot away.

It's helped us ever since to know that, wherever Saints might be, Pompey will always be underfoot.

Tried to get you the Youtube link - but it's been deleted from there now. Shame......... it was really silly! :emoticon-0110-tongu

It's still kicking off on the Saints board.

Sense of humour bypass people! <doh>

If this is what happens nowadays when a team hits the big-prem-time then I want none of it!

Honestly, I didn't watch the clip and I haven't been on the Southampton board in a year or so, so I have no idea what this is about at all. Anyone got a summary?

Some building work going on at Saints training ground.

2 Pompey fans putting in dry lining video'd themselves hanging a new shirt behind the insulation in the wall. They put the video on Youtube for a while before deleting it.

Some Saints fans have taken umbridge - I get the sense they seem to feel that now they're in the prem they have to be treated with a lot more respect (read that with your eyes rolling).

One or two Saints fans are trying to point out that it's hardly a heinous crime........ but the rest are having none of it. It's now been picked up by the Echo (who by the way, are still banned from St Fairies).

Seems an odd thing to get worked up over. A stupid harmless prank. And the Echo are going to run a story about it? Dont they have better things to do with their time? I certainly know I do.
