No question: 1. Shilton by miles 2. Niemi (too injury prone!) 3. Eric Martin Cheers Spencer (Dark Lord)
Shilton for me, followed by Niemi and Flowers. We've had a good crop of keepers over the years so it's a difficult one to pick as they all have their own qualities.
We have had so many! Shilton and Niemi are probably the BEST two, closly followed by the unfortunate Gerry Gurr who as Gabriel's Boots stated had fantastic potential but injury saw him retire far too soon! however my FAVOURITE keeper has to be the 'flying scot' Eric Martin - who spent alot of time chatting to supporters while the game was in progress!! Worst - Jim Montgomery (while on loan from Sunderland).
Gotta be Alan Blayney without a doubt Of course Im joking, the best keeper I probs seen play was Kelvin Davis, closely followed by Richard Wright, having been going reguarly since 2006 only
Flowers and Niemi close call, will never forget flowers saving giggs penalty and running full length of the pitch also though paul jones and maik taylor were pretty good
I am going to be controversial here.... I am old enough to have watch Shilts play for Saints, but my vote would still go to Niemi. He may not have been at the top for as long, but at his best Niemi made some unbelievable saves.
