Cocaine only gives the illusion of being in control. After 8 hours on the piss, you think a couple of lines have sobered you up, but they haven't; you're conscious and aware, but you're still ****ing slaughtered, you just don't recognise it. Hence you make very bad decisions. At least, I always did.

A worse drug than heroin imo; at least smackheads know how ****ed up they are when they're on the gear (they just don't care).

Fair point and probably poorly phrased by me as you're not in control when you're under the influence of anything that alters your state of mind.

There's no doubt though that it does straighten you out to an extent if you're a bit pissed up but you are correct about it being an illusion for sure and thatit's just making you more conscious/aware.

Probably better to say that it wakes you up rather than sobers up, I probably still make bad decisions but am much worse than when pissed up personally. Different things effect different people in different ways though.

Any thread in particular? Just got home, Filberto getting banned has made my day. He's probably pacing up and down his lounge muttering "but we won the EPL, how could they do this to me" <laugh>

Thread 'Just to let you know' on their board.

I knew you'd find it funny he was banned mate. I think you have similar views on him as I do <laugh>

Yeah, for 30 mins or so. Coke is great, but it's also short lived and if there's a group of people there's never enough to go around as it's so moreish. I used to prefer dropping a tab of acid and going walkabout personally <ok>

Plus it's the most overrated drug out there. Costs a ****ing bomb too for proper coke.

Waste of money imo.

The stupid part about all this is i actually didn't have a problem with Fosse, can't ever remember having an argument with the guy, but I've pissed a lot of people off in my time, so maybe i had and forgotten.

It wasn't just today, i picked up a few times sly little digs, so today saw another and i decided to get involved.

Normally i give as good as i get as you all know and ten fold, but today i just weren't in the fcking mood for it, and what's the point of running a site for free if I can't stick someone in the cooler.

Democracy sometimes is just too time consuming and sticking him the cooler was the least of my woes when I'm pissed off.

I've noticed him digging you out mate, quite a few times actually.

He even calls you Barbie instead of brb.

Is that Saffy back?

Welcome back bredda. Hope all is well. I've had some excellent news just recently. Won't go in to details on here but I think you'll know what I mean <ok>

Absolute money burner.

You can only drink so much booze or smoke so much spliff before you either pass out in a puddle of your own piss, or become completely locked into a catatonic state to the point where movement becomes impossible; there is, however, no amount of coke you can take which will stop you thinking it's a good idea to do some more. Well, until your ****ing heart expodes anyway.

Totally agree. Plus it turns 90% of people who take it into utter **** stains. I don't deny that I enjoyed it, but there was always something a bit dark about Coke that I didn't like. MDMA on the other hand :)

People just don't know where to look on the tube fella. It's the rows of seats facing each other what does it.

+1 though on the world being a friendly place. I've travelled a fair bit, and everywhere I've been, the real folk just want the same things. To look after and provide for their families, get on with their neighbours and live a peaceful life <ok>
I do agree about the tube - done the daily commute into Westminster for nigh on 30 years now - but I doubt you'd find a train network in any other big city that is discernibly different. That said, the disregard for those who need seats more than the occupants is appalling - and I am sometimes guilty as I do nod off now and again!
Couldn't agree more about global friendliness though. But that's because by and large most people are nice.

I would say that's the case for 90% of the rail and metro networks I've used other than the New York subway. I lived in Park Slope for a short while and my commute into Manhattan was always lively on the subway. I used to find that New Yorkers are really open to talking to to strangers about Politics, Religion etc. A lot of people say that they are 'brash' and 'in your face' but I just found New Yorkers to be confident and open and not afraid to express their opinions <ok>

As for everybody else in the world, as I mentioned we are more alike that we are different and we all pretty much want a peaceful life, to raise our families and have a bit of fun. It's the very small minority that control the wealth and resources that cause the **** storms in the world, regardless of their skin colour, religion and political beliefs.
