    Daves effort at Wigan following up Adels shot that hit post it showed expert reactions and was only 27 feet wide ... Good for his standards

    Ali has surprised me most - in some games he has looked like a top class PL player.

    Traore, despite his stupid dismissal, should be in with a shout. Great attacking play in the three games so far, set up Campbell's goal v Wolves, and looking reasonably dependable at the back

    We all thought he was a Goon clone, relatively skint, would only take a minority share and was a bit West Ham!

    If his ain't the face of the new Rs, I don't know who's is.
