This lol. As someone pointed out before, we beat Man Utd 3-0, does that make our team better than Man Utd's? Just because Liverpool's players showed more ambition than ours in that game, doesn't make them better.

no this is the season everyone said wed get relegated, then we had an easy run of games without being challenged, then demba ba scored 24 goals and we got into the CL ahead of liverpool.

yes OUR player, therefore OUR squad was better and deserved to win, even though real football watchers realised that bellamy was the difference whereas MOTD watchers thought Gerrard was.

Totally agree with this. Thought you were spurred on much more when Gerrard came on and were more threatening, naturally. But Bellamy had won the game for you before that anyway.

Just gonna point out Liverpool's team is better IMO and you will finish above us, but someone saying you beating us 3-1 is all the proof in the world is daft.

 

Bellamy was the best player, yes I watched it. But, Gerrard did change it when he came on, he played really well. Don't agree with Alan Smith giving MOTM to Gerrard like. Was only on 30 mins.

 

I do not think we will challenge Man U this season.

Liverpool, just about. But they've spent a **** load more on their squad. Considering where we were 2 seasons ago, its safe to say we are absolutely flying. Not sure if we can challenge the 'top 6' this season, but if we continue improving we certainly should next.

 

At the moment, we are doing really well. Still 17 games to go and if Liverpool really want to finish above us, they are going to have to start beating the Swansea's and the Stoke's at home. Obviously, we are also going to have to maintain our current form.

 

Defo, 6 pointers are huge but as they say it is a marathon and for that squads matter and generally at the mo squads are pretty much even

The best starting 11. Newcastle's does. I mean we where unbeaten for 14 games with the same back 4. If luiz saw that red and Staylor was not injured, Cisse comes along i beleived we could easily have acheived top 5 This season. The only question now is can we still
