I would take Enrique and Suarez, the rest are ****, too old or wouldnt offer anything better than what Newcastle has.

I would consider Gerrard but hes past it now and hes too rigid in his style, i like the dexterity of caybe and tiote, even guthrie looks more agile than gerrard.

    I'd say:

Gerrard, Suarez and Enrique all walk into the Newcastle team.

Ba, Colo, and one of Cabaye or Tiote (and I'll add Perch for the head cases) all walk into the Liverpool team.

The others are more closely matched, depending if you stick Santon at RB or LB because I think both Johnson and Kelly are better than Simpson, but Santon looks decent. Enrique trumps Santon at LB at this moment in time.
The midfield is a tricky area really. I think Gerrard and Lucas as a pair are equal to Cabaye and Tiote, so you can swap them all in and out and you'd still have a great team.

Very fair really. Gerrard IS class, and whilst I haven't seen much of Lucas, Liverpool fans obviously rate him very highly.

Based on form this season I'd go with the below team if you could mix them.

    Krul
    Johnson Agger Colocini Enrique
    Cabaye Lucas Gerrard
    Bellamy Ba Suarez
