So after City yet again flopped in the Champions League (the one trophy He Who Must Be Called Pep was brought in to win) but won the league and Liverpool repeated Chelseas feat from 1997 of winning both domestic cups who had the best season? It's a close run thing but for me but after spending a £BILLION in just 6 years but losing to Spurs twice in the same season it can't be City. Liverpool threw away the title by being too **** to beat us twice this season (unlike Brighton, Southampton, Wolves, Palace, Arsenal, United (x2) Chelsea (x4) Middlesbrough, Mura etc) and failed to score in 3 Cup finals so it can't be them. Brentford could be in the mix but I'm going for arsenal. Not only did they get 5th, they kindly gave us 4th
Voted other - City were expected to win the title and they did - Pool were expected to win the quadruple and they didn't - United expected top 4...got 7th - Arsenal expected top 4...got 8th - Chelsea expected to buy another title... instead they lose their cash cow and finish 1 point ahead of mega **** Spurs - Spurs started season with Nuno... fighting for 8th spot... ended season with Conte and top 4 Only one answer to the OP's question tbh
show me one pundit who said Arsenal would get top 4 this season don’t think you will be able to so you are talking **** where’s my avatar G
Clearly Man City had the best season. Won the PL and came closest to beating Real Madrid in the CL. Notable achievement award goes to Leeds. GD -37 and not being relegated has only been bettered once by Wigan in 2009/10 who stayed up with GD -42.
It should be remembered with the FA Cup, that the winners had a bye to the 3rd Round and even then only had to play little ole Shrewsbury. In fact they didn't meet equal opposition until the Semi, as we can't really count Norwich as opposition. So what does that tell us...Liverpool won two easy trophies, and failed to lift the big two, which in real terms is a Klopp failure.
Voted other, Madrid shat on both of them. Us second… we had the handicap of Nuno for 3+ months and still finished 4th
Mate your failing is clearly more major than I realised, when you start comparing Klopp with a division four side, you know you really have hit rock bottom.
Like I said mate, it's the measure of Klopp's failure when you are having to compare him with a division four side. Premier League...NOT Champions. Champions League...Losers. FA Cup...bye to the third round then played Shrewsbury in the 3rd round League Cup...no formidable opposition untils the QF's Liverpool being compared to Gillingham FC, the height of their ambition this season.
You lost mate, just suck it up. The whole Nation watched your suffering last night, and we loved it, the Cockshhites failed to win their second MAJOR trophy this season. Fail, fail, fail.
