AS in most seasons the relegation battle is shaping up to be more interesting than the title race. At time of posting 6 points seperate the bottom half albeit with games tonight:

I've been saying for a while that I fancy Palace to have the players to get out of it. January can change things but I think Swansea, Brighton and one other out of Hudders/Stoke/WBA.

I think Swansea, Brighton and Huddersfield... but would be happy with the current bottom 3 to go down!

God knows how we lost last night though - threw it away in the last 5 when we should have been out of sight! I think Zaha will be key to Palace staying up!

Hmm difficult, I think Palace will get out of it and I hope we’ve done enough to not have to worry about that part of the table now!

Swansea I think, no Llorente or Siggurdson who were key for them last season

Newcastle will depend if they get their takeover, they have championship players but Rafa is a good manager. Maybe depends if there are 3 worse teams so to speak

Brighton I think will struggle second half and maybe Huddersfield

The usual suspects Stoke, West Brom and West Ham I think will escape

Swansea, Newcastle and one of Brighton or Huddersfield for me

The three worst teams I've seen play this season, apart from Swansea, are Newcastle, West Brom and Huddersfield so I'm going for those three.

Thought at the start of the season it would be Newcastle & Stoke plus one other, the only reason I'm not now saying Stoke is I find it hard to believe they're worse than the first three I mention.

If Newcastle weren't having this takeover, they'd be nailed on to go down with that squad, surely? It's being reported the takeover will be announced within 24hrs and they'll have 100 million to spend in January. That should see them safe. Rafa is a great manager, yet loads of their fans are questioning his tactics and team selections? One point from 7 games and it seems he's unable to stop the rot. There's nothing special about him.

Anyway, Swansea are nailed on to go down. Nobody has mentioned Bournemouth, but I think they're in trouble and I'll go for West Brom.

Swap West Brom for Newcastle, if the takeover doesn't happen.

Hodgson is working miracles at Palace and reminding us all what a great manager he is.

It also reminds us just how appallingly he was treated by ‘Pool and Mousers in general.

“You’ll never walk alone!” sing all the Mousers through tear-stained eyes.

Fcuking liars!

HAIG saw the thread title and though "this is my kind of thread I'll go down on anyone."
