Right now, I'd go with:

Chelsea
City
Arsenal
Man U
Spurs
Liverpool
Everton
Saints

and the same bottom three of Palace/Sunderland/Stoke. After which we switch back to stripes by right of conquest.

Think this team have already shown that tyhey are very different to the Saints of old who would as Osvaldorama siad got ghammered by Fulham. If the defence can stay tight we will turn a lot of games we drew last year into wins.

Article in Echo saying how we have turned it round from last season when we lost so many games from winning positions. So far this season we are doing well towards the end of a match. Mauricio says this is down to fitness...can remember Strachan and Adkins saying how important it was to be willing to play until 95 mins. MP seems to have got them fit enough to do this and he makes good tactical substitutions.

Have we even started as well as West Brom did last season? We don't have the squad to quite maintain this imo, but when all fully fit, our first choice 11 can, and probably will, beat anyone.

Plus, as soon as we hit the safe points mark, I can't see us maintaining good results to the end of the season, unless we've got a genuine shout for fifth, which will be unlikely.

But, of course, am over the moon with this start, and long may it continue! We need to bask in this.

I find that an incredible to say.

Are you not aware of all the words coming out of SFC..? It's not meant to be BS. There is a genuine attempt at Saints to become far better than anything they have been before, and with one single sentence you show what you think of it. I can only imagine that you didn't intend your words to convey the meaning that they have.

Pretty sure the team and management don't share your lack of ambition. And a good thing they don't.

I think Palace are gone now that Holloway has gone. They don't have a good enough squad anyway, let alone with managerial nonsense playing a part.
Sunderland too.
I wonder if the Sunderland chairman will be made to pay the price for poor appointments if the Poyet appointment doesn't work out.

Daft to get rid of him IMHO ( it has been confirmed BTW ) .
