Not really PDC's area, it was that Di Fanti bloke, the DOF who brought them in & told him to make a team out of them. I think PDC did have targets, but was given little support.
(I'm not standing up for him by the way, think he was an awful choice by them)

I had heard that Jol was close to the sack and needed a result against Cardiff.

Palace floundering but Hull and Cardiff are going about their business quite well.

Strange how every year one side that comes up always surprises. Dont know if Hull can keep it going though. Thought Palace looked lightweight and Fulham did look pretty poor against Cardiff. Will be interesting to see how Sunderland do today.

I have feeling the that the current bottom three will be the ones to go down. Everyone else looks stronger except for west ham who really need a decent striker up front.

I reckon bottom 3 now could well go down, but Fulham might just make it. I don't know who I fancy in their place though, both Hull and Cardiff have actually looked okay so far, and I think they'll both be okay. It could be a close season for 18th spot.

Fulham look in big trouble. Rumours that Jol is about to be sacked.

Di Canio going was an annoyance, because my money from the start was on Jol to be the first to go. Ageing squad, not particularly attractive, poor end to last season, new chairman, and a manager who has been there for a little while now without really achieving anything.

And now you throw in a poor start to this season.

I was convinced that Di Canio would go at point. I just didn't think he'd be the first.

Well, I have £20 (at 15/1) on Wet Hoof to go down this season. I can see a rollercoaster on that bet - I just don't see them getting the ball in the net often enough and I suspect that even if they stay up it'll be close.

Then again, the moment I have money on...

Vin

Yes sadly have to agree. A fit striker and thy will be fine.

Aye, and if my Auntie had had balls she'd have been my Uncle.

However, the joy of betting on Betfair is that I can close the bet out at any point in the season, so I can see how it goes. As I said above, I think they might well escape but I can make money on their being in a relagatable position towards the end of the season.

Plus, I'd LOVE to see them go down. I don't particularly dislike them - they're too dull to dislike - but I want it to happen just to see Trixter implode.

It's a good bet by virtue of the fact that the odds have dropped considerably, and with their upcoming schedule will likely drop further still...they're already as low as 5-1 in many places.

He'd never come on here if they went down, he only turns up if West Ham are in better form than us. He's just a daft wind up merchant.

The Sunderland/Liverpool game was better than the Stoke one. Thought Sunderland showed more passion than before...suspect due to PDC sacking. They looked like they wanted to play for their temporary (?) manager. Wanted them to equalise and not just because of our CL place :) Don't want to tempt fate, but I am actually completely unconcerned about the relegation places...that just feels spooky.
