If Sunderland and Stoke go down, perhaps we can return to a traditional red and white strip!

You can't see QPR going down? They are all but gone. Even Redknapp can't get them out of the mess they're in.

So bad that they totally outplayed us with 10 men and pulled back a 2-goal deficit! I think its a bit of a lottery really. Towards the end of the season you always get freak results with some teams stepping up and others giving up. I do think it has become almost impossible for Reading and QPR but I wouldn't want to stake my mortgage on the 3rd team.

Time to explain why you think they'll stay up? They look doomed to me - they literally have to win all their remaining games.

Looks like it will come down to the final day to me.

You have the tougher final fixture as stoke may well need a point to stay up where as we will be playing a long relegated Reading who have a smug, clueless manager.

Yeah QPR are gone. What charity do you want the tenner sent to?

At this stage Reading and QPR are more than likely going to go down which leaves just one place. I think anybody below Fulham can still go down - we're still by no means safe.
Can't remember it being so tight so late in the season with 8 teams still in danger.

Every weekend, it seems to change. Last weekend, I thought Villa had a good chance, now after today's draw against Fulham, they're right back in trouble. Stoke and Sunderland have got very difficult games tomorrow, however if Sunderland pull off a piece of magic at St James' Park then Newcastle could be sucked into the relegation scrap.

Have to feel sorry for Norwich, sounds like they were hard done by at the Emirates today and now they'll be looking over their shoulders. They've got a huge run-in with games against Reading, Stoke and Villa as well as a final day visit to the Etihad!

Wigan have got 2 games in hand over some of the other sides in danger. However, they've got Man City, Spurs and Arsenal still to come - and they host Villa on the final day! Add to that the dilemma of a possible Cup final - where do you stick your priorities? A major trophy for the first time in the club's history or Premier League survival?

    It's all very exciting stuff!

Unless you really think we won't get another point I think we are safe! Even if we don't Wigan or Sunderland need to win three more games to overtake us. Relax we're here next season.

Another masterstroke from Cortese! Maybe there was some sort of decree from a higher power that all hoops and stripes would be at high risk of going down this season. Quick one-season change to avoid being associated with fascism and hoofball, stay safe, and then all change next year with new kit.

Is it next season we have a new shirt manufacturer, by the way? Any ideas who it is?

Aside from ourselves and West Ham moving ever closer to mathmatical safety, the race to avoid 18th place hasn't really changed today. Villa threw away a promising opportunity to pull clear (both in terms of the fixture itself, and being 1-0 up during the game), whilst Norwich threw away three points late on.

And with Stoke and Sunderland both losing tomorrow, in my book, nothing will change there either.

The fat lady is clearing her throat for Harry though (ooh, er, missus). And that alone is enough to make this a very, very good day.
