Your version is the most entertaining, so we will go with that one. Do I get priority on CL tickets with my season ticket?
Screenshot, upload to imageshack or photobucket, link. Yes. Cortese is also going to take us out for ice cream. And free ponies.
This made me chuckle like mad. lol. Thought Where are Saints. Didn't think to look up there. lol. Another glass needed now. As for screenshots. There are so many easy ways espec on win8 but I still use ScreengrabPro by Traction as it seems to be easier.
If we finished 4th, I still believe in some strange way we will be only 4 points off relegation. What is it about that number!
Noticed last night on MOTD [repeat on now by the way - use iPlayer LIVE and grab the pointer to roll back to Saints] that they showed a graphic of Sunderland's last 7 games, and all wondered where they were going to obtain points from. Stoke maybe, at home. Also staring at them was Saints at home. No comment from them. Obviously the opinion has now completely changed. SFC are no fluke winning team anymore.
I'm still a bit worried in that we can beat and outplay the teams that want to play football but we haven't really managed to beat a 'park the bus' or long ball team. We could win all our remaining games or lose them (or draw them)
I have QPR, Wigan, Villa, Sunderland and Stoke split by just two points going into the last day. I've filled out every last day result, except for Wigan-Villa. Put simply, that game decides who goes down in 18th. (Stoke survive, despite losing at our place).
Snap. I thought along the exact same lines when doing my predictions. And it's a blooming important win for Sunderland, because in my book they go down without those three points.
Thankfully Reading are in no position to be able to park the bus. They quite simply have to win. And besides, I think we know that Nigel isn't a park-the-bus type manager, nor a long-ball manager.
We are the better side and, although we didn't get all the points, we have played decently against 'lower' sides (exception being QPR). Adkins has the advantage of knowing our players, but we don't just have one or two players that you need to mark out of the game...we can attack from any position. The players quote the mantra that it's just another game and 3 points, but they will be up for this game.
We've got more points now than our last Premier League attempt. Would have stayed up on this total that year, too. Pretty meaningless, but still.
I thought a low score might be enough this season, but am thinking now that it may need to be 40 or 40+. There are still quite a few teams with a shout of staying up in truth. Very open in the bottom half. Our GD and goals scored could be very important and keep us a few places higher than points alone.
Thank you Liverpool. QPR just over 24 hours away from potentially being right back in this now, thanks to Villa and Sunderland losses.
