No but I reckon they need at least two wins and a draw from their next 4 and I can't see that happening.
My view is that it depends on what happens tomorrow. If we can beat Sundeerland and open a seven point gap then I think we will survive. They have six of the top seven left to play and their other four are all to an extent relegation contenders. Was the Baggies win at Swansea a fluke? They come to us for our next home game and we visit The Swans in between. We need six points from those three really but if we win tomorrow things will be easier.
I absolutley don't want Norwich to go down, but they do have 3 players I'd take: Redmond, Ruddy & Hooper. Not saying that they are world class players that will add a great deal to us, but Redmond has potential, Hooper can do a job and would add some good squad depth, and Ruddy would suffice as back-up/ competition for Boruc. Can't say the same for Wet Spam...
It's odd that your perception is that our form is bad.In fact although not good we share current form with Swansea,Palace and Fulham with 5 points from our last 6.WBA have 6 and Hull 7,while Cardiff are bottom with 4. But if you look at our home form it's not bad, draws with Citeh,Newcastle and Stoke and wins over Spurs and Hull so far in 2014.In that time we have only conceded one dodgy penalty.
The blinded fans syndrome. You were dire against us last week and that is how you'll be judged, incorrectly. Most are writing off your last four games; a cornered rat is the most dangerous and how many times have teams won games in that situation? It is a long way from over and you start above the line which could prove important come the end.
Everyone writes off teams too early....it's still very open this season. I wouldn't even put is past Fulham to save themselves and, as for Norwich, they only have to do as well as those below to be safe...don't need to do better. Better to be outside the zone.
Very torn today I want west Ham to lose but dont want United to win and pull away from us. Draw best result.
Pretty sure we won't need ten points.I think 37 will do so we need eight. The tightness between 12 -17 means things can change quickly. Those six places covered by just three points.
QUOTE=lamballana;6246125] No justice[/QUOTE] Sadly I agree. When they were adrift I thought they might. I'm also starting to respect fat Sam a bit- their draw with chelski and his comments after. He is terrible and I hate his style but he knows what he is and can keep a team up.
Never did get the anti West Ham sentiment, even when we were neck and neck in the Championship. Kinda quite like Big Sam as well - he has solid, old school English virtues imo, ie ugly but effective. He probably thinks "tika-taka" is something you get in a Thai restaurant, and I respect him for that. As for Man Utd, is it wrong of me to enjoy their suffering? Probably, but I just can't help it.
Have they ever been sorry for anyone...no, then it's open season. We should enjoy it while we can...it won't last.
