Not bothered about anything to do with league predictions or anything - I'm simply really looking forward to the season starting.

Enjoying watching the WC - usual ****e (as I predicted long ago) from England but the tournament has been one of (if not the) best in my living memory.

wc is good but you dont get the same feel as you do in the crowd watching live football! nothing better than watching sunderland! love the atmosphere and the crack can not wait for the new season to kick off! starts with the usual hartlepool pre season away game :)!

Well I can only go on business done, as we've not done enough business yet I have to think yes, as it stands we'd be in a relegation battle, I expect that view to change as I think we've got money to spend and clear direction.

    Not confident at all unfortunately
When you look back at who was influential in the main last season they were loanees, Borini, Alonso, Ki etc Colback & Bardsley gone, that to a point was the side's nucleus, we need cover for some parts for defo, Striker, creative midfielder or 2, left back to name but a few.
Would also like to see Alfie & Cabral get a go, thought they couldhave gone on from where they were but didn't get the chance. Player like Giaccarini need to front up and put out their definite potential on a week to week basis.
maybe Gus has wound up Fletch to stay, not sure cos he didn't even look interested when he did last year, fancy things instaed of basics
Full of hope but defo not confident
