At least you resisted the all-too-obvious 'horny' quip. Have some originality points.

Going back to the betting odds, 2 major factors affect the prices offered

    1) The amount of money placed against a candidate
    2) Inside information for the bookie.

A third factor can be the volume of bets which can affect odds - but not greatly unless large amounts of money are involved.

As for Leicester fans placing volume bets for M O'N - cant see it. All you have to do is read through posts on any forum. We HOPE he would come, but realistically dont believe it.

With regards to odds on others - we must remember that our owners will want a high profile person who is internationally known. This would rule out a number of partly successful managers from the English leagues.

If the bookies have inside information and know that this is available to others, then they would NOT remove M O'N from the candidates and take bets on others - they would simply close the book. Seems to me that the reason M O'N is odds on is because of the vast amount of money already speculated on him. A lot of the gambling money comes from the Far East and sub continent, and may be placed with UK bookies or foreign ones - all of which affect the odds for every bookie.

Personally, I dont believe M O'N would come back, though I would love him to. There are managers on the list who have international reputations that would fit with what the owners are striving for - promotion and marketablity.

Time will tell, and I am sure some of us will be happy, some disappointed, and some have concerns.

Not sure why racism has been brought into this thread - I just thank God it is not from any Leicester fans. We may mock other football fans, or retaliate with abuse against WUMS - but we aint racist scum like some appear to be.

Now Martin - come home please, and bring your mates with you

The dream move wont happen...however im hoping he is itching to get back into football. A return to his glory club, with buckets of money, investment and huge ambition. Could it be?

Hell i think someone like O'Driscoll would be a half decent manager. Was v unlucky at Donny after producing a side that played some of the best football in the championship (think he had 10 first team players out at the beginning of this seasons campaign). He knows how to work without resources...so is clearly a manager to get the best out of any team!

Leeds was the only major city not involved in the rioting the other week. Do you think before you type this jibberish?

And since I'm not talking about those riots, you're made yourself look foolish...again. And I was talking about Yorkshire people in general, not just people from Leeds.
