Yes he's a cheating sod, but had there been a more competent ref he would've been booked. Besides, you can't tarnish the whole club because of one player who used to be good and has had to resort to things like that.

Just for the record I don't hate Reading neither do I love them, there are other clubs in that league who I prefer. I'd rather have them though then the likes of Birmingham and the Pearly Kings and Queens.

Ideally I'd like to see someone like Derby or Watford go on a late charge and sneak into the play-offs. Especially if it resulted in them getting a disputed last minute winner in the play-off final against West Ham. Also I'd like to point out I have nothing against Hammers fans, I know a couple and get on well with them, its the medias constant obsession and insistence that they are a club on the size and scale of Man Utd and Arsenal.
Hi Wonky, yes it was a logical thread and here goes Southampton Reading Blackpool I think West Ham are stuttering and Blackpool lolloked excellent on Saturday and Reading similarly playing well. if these do go up it would make for a really exciting Prem next year as all these teams can play. I would not Sam's West Ham, Brum or Boro - boring b**tards, all of 'em!
Saints - used to work in Southampton and have a soft spot for the place - they also play good footie, have decent fans and were shafted by the FA and this would be the perfect riposte back to the faceless suits. Reading - good footballing team, always a good game between us and it will be good to launch a tirade of abuse at Harte again next year lol ! Blackpool - just like them - would be good to see them back (although if they don't make it could they sell us Matt Phillips on the cheap please). My brother supports Wet Spam and he doesn't reckon they'll go up and he hates the Allardyce style of football. Expect big Sam to get the heave ho if the Spammers don't make it.
Saint's (liked them since their Keegan/Channon/Shilton heydays of the 70's/80's), Brighton (if only to help out the FA's diversity policy and give us a relatively easy 6 points), Brum (proper club and always enjoyed the W Mids derbies). Don't really like Reading and hate their souless ground. I have seen better looking NCP car parks. From a selfish point of view Brighton/Blackpool/Cardiff would probably all do well to avoid the drop (although I am sure people said the same about us and Swansea last season).
It ain't going to happen but for selfish reasons at the start of the season I wanted Cardiff, Bristol City and Birmingham. All on a nice rail route for me and too far for some City supporters leaving plenty of tickets free. It will be Saints, Reading and Brum I feel.

(My Uncle George always referred to me as thee or thou) Ollie really gave it a go in The Premiership last year with fewer resources than we have had,and it nearly came off.I hope they make it.
Sorry CT, I didn't make myself clear. It's not the accent that gets to me CT. It's how he seems to try to make up the witty comments, when there is no need to. He just seems to play dumber than he is. Having read his book, I know he didn't really write it himself before you all jump on me, but in that you can see he has got a decent brain. It's more WHAT he says that annoys me than HOW he sounds - if that makes sense.
Did Blackpool have fewer resources than us? You can't compare the teams as they had some pretty decent players but a crap reserve keeper. We get bigger crowds of course but that shouldn't affect resources for one season. We were in deep debt at the time of course.
