I want Leicester because I miss the cross-board banter with them I don't really want Burnley to come up, because the prospect of us struggling against them (as per usual) isn't that appealing, but it looks as though they're gonna get 2nd anyway. Derby would be my 3rd choice because they have been playing some nice football this year, and it's better than seeing the West Ham/Stoke type's beginning to fill the League.
Burnley & Derby are easy away days for me. Leicester's not too bad to get to either. Buster Bloodvessel & his drum are a pain though.
Anyone but DQPR- an appalling club. Bent manager, ****ish players, squealing 'London' fans, dirty toilet of an area and a collective self-delusion of gargantuan proportions.
Leicester, Derby and Forest, mainly because I live near them and those away matches are easy traveling for me, doubt Forest will even make the play offs now though.
All possibilities seem incredibly boring. Canât help feel Burnley coming up a bad omen (came up for our second season last time). Probably say Derby for the third spot, just because of Steve Mc. Hope Wigan donât do it. No real beef with them but just the thought of them really really ****ing bores me. Plus, I donât like their old **** of a chairman. Out of them, youâd imagine Pearsonâs Leicester being the best to adapt to the league (obvious statement I suppose given their superiority in the division). But, Iâd still say that if they came up in the play-offs. Youngish team (isnât it), very good manager with (Iâd suppose) a big transfer kitty at their disposal now theyâve come up. Hopefully, theyâll go all Cardiff and sack Pearson circa Christmas.
bugger, thought I edited the quote in "When people now ask me if I like football, I'll say yes, I do like football. But not Burnley. Burnley can **** off."
If Wigan miraculously beat Arsenal in the FA Cup SF, I'd love to see them in the Championship playoffs. It would create extra pressure & a bit of a dilemma for them in the FA cup final..giving us a better chance of FA Cup glory & a place in Europe next season. Dare to Dream...
From a purely selfish point of view the weaker the teams coming up the less worrying our first season in Europe will be. I vote for Burnley who spent bugger all last time and went straight back down (with us granted). Derby who I like, but another 11 point haul from them would be appreciated. Finally Leicester because NP is their Achilles Heel. He's only comfortable working with young players and Leicester will need a lot more experienced Prem players to survive.
Leicester is moot. They're as good as up already. DEAL WITH IT, as one silly old bugger used to say...
He was on a coach with a group of Burnley fans at the back constantly chanting. Damn, foiled once again!
Leicester and Forest cos they are easy to get to for away games and Derby cos we have family there and can make a nice boozy weekend of it - so basically anywhere for a good awayday
