Most of Rickies goals have come from the spot this season. He is a big cog in our wheel but Lallana is the axle and without him our wheel falls off.
Lambert has had more minutes, and takes penalties. I feel that Barnard seems to be more of a goal[oacher, who will get us back into a game on scraps with his finishing. Lambert is more of a confidence player, plus you need to be able to jump being a 6ft 3' target man, preferably. However that is just personal opinion, others will prefer over I am sure.
I voted Lallana, because he's the best. Barnard is currently our best striker, and Lambert does a good job up front even when he's not scoring, but neither holds a candle to Lallana. He is probably the most skillfull player in league one, and we tend to resort to route one when he is missing.
Voted Lallana because he is the player with the most quality, but obviously he can't play on his own. I'd also be very worried if Rickie was out...does much more than just score goals. Look at his commitment winning that ball for the cross to Barnard. Barnard is really coming into his own after his lay-off. Fast and gets himself into the right position. Alex is lively and creates chances. Could go on for the whole team.
I have one criticism of Lambert...sometimes the guy does not jump! I think overall that our attacking force, when fully fit, is the best in the league, even above Peterborough's. 4.4 at their place and we destroyed them 4.1 at ours, I make that 8.5 in the goal-scoring ratio. Here is an interesting question: if out of Lallana and Chamberlain one was to definately leave and the other stay for a few seasons yet, who would you take? Obviously Lallana is better for the present, but who knows how good Chamberlain might become...
As much as I think Hammond is a good player, I am suprised someone has picked him over Lambert... I said Lallana is our best player, we're nothing without him
