My shout for most improved is for Chambers. Looks so comfortable in the side, still has great potential.
It appears we may get to see whether that happens in the case of Luke Shaw, if news reports are anything to go by. Here's another example: http://www.sportsvibe.co.uk/news/football/chelsea-set-to-open-talks-with-shaw-30313/
Something similar on the Telegraph website. Of course they'll have to go through Cortese first, so I'm not getting worried just yet. The young man's under contract and in good hands.
At the end of the day if Cortese thinks a bid is good value and we can spend the money productively and/or Targett can fill the void then we should trust the man
If Shaw went to Chelsea it wouldn't just be about money though would it? He's a Chelsea fan and tried to join their Academy before he came to Saints. There's also going to be a left back vacancy there at some point in the next year or two so he'd probably have a chance to establish himself as first choice.
However would that not be the case in any club he moved to..............especially as he was following the $$$$ as some would seem to suggest? Or are you perhaps suggesting he would go to them and be on the same money just because he was a fan. Going against them of course is the fact they would not give him the chance when he asked to join them. Is he/ would he be persuaded as a previous fan just on that basis. Somehow doubt it....but we will see?
Being hyper harsh, I think Artur is replaceable. The other two less so. However I would HATE to lose any. Most improved has to be JWP for me, followed by J-Rod. Downhill.....well....Yoshida and, umm, not by much, but perhaps Rickie's influence is slightly on the wane. However, I've thought that before and every time, without fail, he's come back firing.
