I never wear a shirt to a game or buy one normally. Last year decided to buy both home and away. But that was purely for the purpose of flying from Cardiff airport. I knew it would wind someone up and when i went through security had my first bite. The guy there called me all sorts. ( but was laughing) he said what made it worse is that the shirt was orange. Worth every penny. Wore it to the first couple of games and with no wins the were stuck in the draw for the rest of the season. Shirts in this house are for my son from now on and they are both keepers shirts (he is a keeper), so the obvious one is vorm, but after Tremmels performances that may change. I suppose it should as we have german family and spend a lot of time there, Close season obviously.
I don't have a name, I have signatures -- Laudrup, Curtis, Monk, Britton, Nurse. The shirt shall never be washed.
Aha now that's different yankee and could end up of value in years to come, I have quite a few shirts with signatures and names on them in frames, They hang on my wall going up the stairs.....Now that's what i call sad....
After reading through this I'm thinking of having Number 1 Fan on the back of my home shirt and Huw Jenkins Legend on the away one.
How about not Not 606. The obvious one for anyone on here is for FFS to have Gower on his shirt. After that I reckon Dai should have Danny Graham on his and PGF should have Porn Star on his.
My wife and I lost our baby boy earlier this year a week before he was due to be born. I have the away shirt with his name 'Lucas' and the number 18 - the day he was born in July. I wear it every time the Swans play.
When I was over last month I was really disappointed they had no Jack Army T Shirts there. I asked for a Ki shirt with He shoots, he scores, he'll eat your Labrador, but they wouldn't do that for me either. Not really, I got a plain back Centennial Shirt and never a better time to wear it.
Oh No Stereo, I'm so sorry to hear that and that is a very fine thing to have on your shirt. What a heartbreak but what a great way to remember. I am so sorry for your loss, my deepest, heartfelt condolences especially for another Port Talbot boy. That's so sad.
Dai, Here's one for your collection. Its not a Swans shirt but it is signed by one of your favorite players http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/121204-december-auctions-526226.aspx?pageView=full
Thanks for the kind words gents. I'm sure he is kicking every ball Musty. He was cremated wearing his 'born to play for Swansea City' baby grow. Each time we score I smile and thank him for the help hehe.
So very, very sorry, Stereo. It truly brought a lump to my throat. I bet your little one also has a smile whenever we score.
