Well let's just say its not in good taste not exactly reflecting well upon himself but if you find it entertaining it's your opinion man don't have to agree with mine
I don't find it entertaining, my feelings is simple, I don't really give a sh!t, i'm not bothered by it at all. Here you have a young man, who has the world at his feet, at his young age, he has some of the most biggest clubs in world football after him, as a footballer, this is only something you can dream off, and to have it at his young age, is something you can only dream of in your dreams! So i'm sorry you fans getting all frustrated about this are simply holding him up to some bull **** standards which a lot of sports fans seem to invent. Every single one of would love to be in his position, and if we were in his shoes, at his age, with all the big clubs after us, i'm sure we would take our time in deciding which club to go to, as well as having so much fun with it.
Hazard is making himself look like a prat though, the sooner he decides, the better it is for his reputation.
Did anyone read this from earlier this week? Looks like we're sloppy seconds. http://justarsenal.com/vertonghen-arsenal-want-me-but-i-will-only-join-them-if-tottenham-fail/13919 Vertonghen: Arsenal Want Me But I Will Only Join Them If Tottenham Fail The Ajax captain Jan Vertonghen is getting frustrated that Tottenham have failed to agree a price with his club so that he can move to White Hart Lane, but he has also admitted that Arsene Wenger wants him at Arsenal but he wonât move to the Emirates until Tottenham give up on negotiations with Ajax. The Belgian international was quoted on Sporza.be (translated by Google) as saying: âI chose Tottenham. This club gives me the best feeling. They want to act fast. They have already invited me and Monday was their president in Amsterdam. They say Iâm their only option, thatâs a compliment,â âTottenham is the only option? Arsenal would also like me, but I consider that only if no agreement is reached with Tottenham. My preference goes to England. Together with the Spanish league, I think the most beautiful.â The negotiations between Ajax and Tottenham are difficult. Ajax want 15 million for the defender. âThatâs a lot of money for a player who only a contract for a season. Ajax wants everything out of it, Tottenham want to pay as little as possible.â âBut I understand Ajax. I do not quarrel with not leaving. Tottenham will miss the Champions League. For me, it plays no role, but that may have impact on their budget. It may take several weeks to process. But I want to completely finish the preparation at my new club. â âEven my coach Frank de Boer grants me a transfer. He said that it is time to go, because I have developed a higher level and certainly can handle. In October there was much criticism of me. Then he made me aware of what I had to do. âAnd if there is no transfer, I just stay at Ajax. Then I play the Champions League next season and I can leave as a free player (next summer).â Hmm Iâm not sure that Wenger would go back with a bigger offer if Tottenham canât agree a price with Ajax, but Itâs nice to know that Arsenal actually considered buying him. Perhaps there is hopeâ¦..
I'm reading that as Tottenham have the better wage offer, which is why he prefers them, yet Ajax is asking more for the transfer.
They're both Twats, but I personally thinking Hazard is playing games with the media because he can. He knows he can spout random crap off and the media will have a field day, only for him to spout something else out a day later which contradicts his previous statement.
If your an Arsenal fan then without a doubt Vertonghen is the more annoying player. He's openly stating his ambition to play for Spurs, and us as a SECOND OPTION, now that my friends is bull ****. Spurs is our hated derby rivals, how the f--k can't you be annoyed that he's putting them as first option, and us as second, only if he CAN'T make his move there? A lot of fans have been calling for passion, and commentating on a lack of passion, how is this player going to really feel the passion of a local derby with Spurs when he wanted openly join them, and had us down as second choice behind them? That's not the type of mentality you want, and as far i'm concerned, he can f--k off.
Yea, I've had to quash my desire for Vertonghen to play for us. He should never be an Arsenal player after comments like that. The rivalry doesn't even matter really; to say that about any club is stupid. The rivalry between Arsenal and Spurs just makes the comments worse than they would have been.
