who do you believe is the best propect and who would you miss the most if they left

I can actually say I am surprised by how good he is beacause when he arrived he wasnte even proven, so I have been very happy all season he is a true little star for us so I hope we can keep him but when it comes down to money we always lose out

 

20 goals for Cody Now he is a complete machine

 

No disrespect to Gills, but i doubt Cody wants to stay with you lot after his loan spell ends. Hes still young and ambitious.

 

Yeah I know where you are coming from mate, But if we are in League 1 it could be a different story because that is where he could make his name.

 

By scoring 20+goals he has proved himself to Lambert, He will train with us in the summer and if he shows promise in our closed season friendlies he could be given a chance. Depending on how we strengthen our squad, and what league we will be competing in.

 

Not just saying this because I would like him at Gillingham but I dont believe he would be good enough for premiership, also I dont think Jackson would be good enough at that level, you may need a few new players to give you a few more numbers like you are trying to get makail-smith ( he would be good in the premiership I think) But players like Chris Martin, Oli Johnson, Cody Mac, Simeon Jackson and Korey Smith I don't think would be good enough in the premership but players like Grant Holt, Andy Crofts, Drury, Ruddy, Surman and a few others like Wilbraham would be good enough so if you go up which I think you will, I think you may end up doing a clear out and bringing in a few new players.

I hope Cody Mac fires you lot into lg1 this season. Its a tricky one, i doubt Cody could cut it in the prem but who knows?

 

Yeah I hope so aswell and we will have to wait and see what happens afterwards

 

To some extent, although i'd swap the respective positions of Wilbraham and Korey Smith (and maybe in time - with a rocket up the ass - Chris Martin).

However, IF we managed to reach the Premiership, i'd still like to see us persevere with the likes of Cody and Jackson, perhaps loaning them out to Championship/top League One sides.

 

Yeah loan them both to us, As they could get us to the Championship.

 

What about oli johnson???

I think chris martin has the most potential, altho he does remind me of Nicklas Bendtnar and is not quite as good as he thinks... I think korey smith will be a top midfielder aswell

 

I agree mate, chris martin does seem to be a good player, Definatly prolific at League 1 level, If you go up you may have to consider loaning Chris out to The Championship teams so that he can get a bit better. You may have to do the same with Simeon Jackson as he is not up to the level of the Premiership yet, But I think he may be good enough one day for the premiership, You may need one more striker next season for the premiership.
