Looking at the match stats, it looks like a real smash & grab by Steve McClaren's Derby County. We're up next!
Grant, Wisdom and Martin were the key players for Derby. All the rest looked very average and Sammon&Buxton are always getting away with murder. I feel sorry for Brighton cos they really reserved much much more from the match.
I think Derby would give us more of a chance as they commit players forward whereas I can't quite fathom out Brighton, plenty of possession but only a couple in the box at any time, they play not to lose which when you are 2-1 down is rather strange.....
Wasn't really Kilburn apart from first 20 mins or so when Brighton had a go at them, after that Derby were very comfortable and could have put the tie beyond Brighton had they wanted to..... Wouldn't fear playing Derby in final.....
They rely on the other team to make mistakes, all we have to do is not do that and have a quick back line. Still, I think we need to worry about wigan first who i fear more than derby or brighton.
I dont feel confident at all about these play offs. Then again we are QPR and almost everything is possible.
I'd agree with this. Had we set up the right team an a positive attitude we'd have beaten them at Pride Park. Also Derby are the side against whom we would be underdogs. However, let's get there first.
