Exactly, Arsenal should not have to rely on tonight's results. We have our fate in our own hands. No excuses. No complaining about the refs in the other matches.

If we want van Persie to stay at the club, then CL football is vital.

The home draws to Wolves & Fulham and the loss to Wigan could prove to be costly - we simply should not have dropped points in any of those games.

If we didn't, 3rd would already be sealed for us.

As Jayram has said - if we fail to secure 3rd, we only have ourselves to blame. No win in our last 3 games is a little worrying, however.

I think we've suffered all season and for few seasons with a very fragile confidence. Recent history would say we have very little chance of winning the next two games, so it is very important for Spurs AND Newcastle to drop points. As it stands I am not at all confident our players will be up for the Norwich game.
 
JUSTICE. Thats what that goal was. Complete justice. Come on Bolton, I want to bump up my "Spuds will come 5th thread" tonight but I cant do it without a spuds defeat or draw <laugh>
 
Bolton all over spuds now. Amazing how spuds can just look so ordinary. Fine when things are going their way but backs against the wall they are nothing more than a league 1 side <ok>
