If we end up with someone decent it will be because their CV landed on Ehab's desk from their agent - a la Silva
Because they are under contract and will **** up any so called loyalty payments and other pay offs they would get if they left after an approach by another club and with the approval of their own club.
They can, but it would mean then losing a loyalty bonus, us paying a compensation fee, and possibly a sign on bonus (in leiu of them losing their bonus ) Can't see the Allams wanting to pay compensation
Of the ones listed, I would like Gary Monk. I also think Uwe Rosler is a very good coach too. Both of these have lived/played/managed up north too, so being north of Watford won't scare em. I pray to baby Jesus that we don't end up with McClaren.
Managers always apply for jobs when interested. They can register interest via an agent. The appointing club can then make the approach. Legitimately without jeopardising loyalty payments. Any loyalty payments if that much can easily be covered by the appointing club. Fairly straight forward - I thought you'd have got that.
I think as Ehab stated in his interview - they'll play our style of attacking football. There's a number of candidates that can be crossed off that list.
"our brand of attacking football".. another clever re-brand.. listen out for the PA system next season.. "Welcome to the KCOM, home of the Tigers and and Ehab's Total Attacking Football philosophy (Trademark)!"
5 point criteria for City job.. Someone who knows the championship well Someone who can work on a shoe string budget, if that what it is! Someone who knows a player Someone players will want to play for Someone who plays attacking football None of the above need apply...
Allam covering loyalty payments? I thought you would have got that wouldn't happen. Prospective managers should be willing to crawl over broken glass and then pay the Allams for the honour of being allowed to work for them.
