I hope Celtic don't sell one of our better players for the sake of trying to raise a few millions, I would rather they sold someone who wanted to go as it appears we have good friendship and comradeship at the moment with everybody pulling in the one direction. I would hate to break that up unnecessary, as that could start the ball rolling and in no time half the team would be wanting out. However I think that if some player indicated that for some reason of his own he wasn't happy that could be a better choice to cash in on. However based on Neil and Peter's ability to sign many quality players over the past two years I have little or no doubt that they will make the right choices again this window. By the way, I wouldn't be too sure a quality player will go as Neil and other top managers don't always say exactly what is going to happen.
Players will be sold when they are at there most valuable, if the right bid comes in before they are 26 and when they have 2 years left seems to be the time that most clubs using similar model to ours sell. Its the way we have to go now, either that or we pay silly wages we can't afford to keep or best player and incubate every couple if years.
